- 1844 Great Grandmother, Caroline (Berg) Peterson is born
- 1845 Great Grandfather, John Herbert Baines is born in England. He and Mary sailed from Liverpool, England to Sydney, Australia on the
Red Ball Line. Then later, they probably sailed to Nanaimo, BC and later settled in West Seattle on the 4400 block of 46th SW.
John invented a machine that would cut up salmon and can it, or something to that effect, but it was not perfected. A person
by the name of Smith became interested and got together with him to work out the bugs. The building on the north side of
Sears & Roebuck was Smith Cannery Machine Co. John was given a lifetime job at the company and all through the depression
years and up to his death in 1936. This was probably payment for the invention.
- 1856 Great Grandmother, Mary Ann Baines is born in England
- 7/4/1871 Great Grandfather, Nels Peterson lands in USA. Born in Norway, date unknown. Per a Declaration of Intention, State of Minnesota,
County of Nicollet, Nels renounces allegiance to King of Norway & Sweden on 11/5/72. Nothing else is known about him.
- 7/31/1883 Grandfather, Kinney Peterson is born in Mankato, MN
- 11/16/1885 Great Uncle, Albert William Baines was born. He worked as a machinist for Libby M Neil and Libby during the Alaska fishing season.
In the fall, he would bring back a case of canned salmon. During the winter, he would stay at stay at John & MaryÕs and help out
with chores. He would work in the basement, building model square rigged ships. He never married and died 1/12/54 at 68.
Great Uncle, George Baines (birth & death unknown) was an outcast by John & Mary because he married an Indian girl and lived in Nanaimo, BC.

- 11/24/14 Uncle, Bernard Bwines Brown is born in Seattle. His father was Fred William Brown, born in Georgia & died in WWl
- 8/2/15 Kinney, 32, member of the Seattle Aerie no.1, F.O.E. attends five day function in Spokane. Picture of him in white uniform.
- 5/20/18 Kinney buys lots 7,8,9 &10 4516 47 SW for $500 and builds family home. He lives at 4506 48 SW and moved houses.
Pictures show him raising houses in downtown Seattle and moving houses on barges.
- 6/11/19 Caroline Peterson, 75 dies and buried at Forest Lawn.
- 6/22/21 Kinney Peterson, 38 & Irene Mary Brown, 26 are married in Everett, WA. It is the second marriage for both.
Soon after, Bernard moves out to live with the John & Mary Baines who lived one block north on 46 SW, in West Seattle.

- 1932 Bernard decides to quit high school. Ben joins the CC and spends three years west of Port Angles, WA at
Camp Elwaha until1935. After that he joins the Navy and begins a career as a radio man.

- 6/40 Patricia graduates from West Seattle High
- 7/26/41 Patricia, 19 marries Louis F. Miller, 25 at Tibbets Methodist Church in West Seattle
- 3/20/45 Randolph Franklin Miller is born to Patricia & Louis Miller in Seattle
- 6/45 Kathleen graduates from West Seattle High
- 6/22/48 Gerald Louis & Judith Lynn Miller (twins) are born to Patricia & Louis Miller in Seattle
- 6/51 Kinney buys a new Hudson
- 7/31/51 Kathleen, 24 marries Charles B. Vail, 41 in Seattle (born 2/11/10 in Wichita KS) and he died at 48 in Valdez,
AK Nov 1958. Charlie owned Northern Freight Lines in Valdez.
- 6/54 Kenneth graduates from West Seattle High
- 2/57 Kenneth purchased a new 1957 Chev, light blue, 2 dr, for $3300.45 with balance due of $1116.62.
- 9/8/58 Kenneth was drafted into US Army, Left from Ft. Reily, KS to served in Germany for two years
- 8/26/60 Kenneth received a honorable discharge as SP4
- 9/1/61 Kenneth, 26 marries Joan Mildred Heiser in Burien, WA and live in a house that Kinney bought across from Lincoln Park.
- 1/4/63 Bradley Kay Miller is born to Patricia & Louis Miller in Seattle
- 7/8/63 Irene Peterson, 68 dies of Carcinoma of the Colon and buried at Forest Lawn
- 12/4/64 Kathleen, 37 marries Dwight J. Johnston, 53 in Valdez, AK (born 10/17/11 in Boaz, WI) and he died at 84 in Ontario, OR, 10/17/95.
- 2/23/68 Kenneth, 33 Marries second wife, Luella C. Hoover and they move into family house on 47th SW
- 3/7/68 Kinney Peterson, 84 dies and is buried at Forest Lawn
- 7/8/75 Divorced from Luella C. Peterson (She still lives in West Seattle and saw Ken frequently)
- 11/9/90 Patricia, 68 dies of cancer & pneumonia and is buried at Forest Lawn
- 5/31/92 Kathleen, 65 dies of liver failure in Fairbanks, AK
- 5/18/02 Kenneth John, 66 dies in house fire in family house on 47th SW. and is buried at Tahoma National Cemetery.
Ken dies penniless after being duped by Jack Hanning, a real estate scammer.
